Soda Blasting

  • Used to effectively remove smoke stubborn smoke deposits.
This is a service for:
  • Business customers

  • Domestic customers

Need to remove smoke deposits, paint and other coatings, surface residue and corrosion or grease and oils from a surface?

Ideal Response’s soda blasting technicians use this non-abrasive action technique to remove contaminants from virtually any surface, especially those that might be damaged if a more abrasive cleaning medium was used.

Sodium bicarbonate particles (similar to baking soda) held in the “blast pot” of a self-contained soda blasting system are accelerated to a speed in excess of 600 miles per hour through a specially designed nozzle using compressed air. When these particles come into contact with the surface being cleaned, they fragment into micro-particles that “explode” materials from the surface being cleaned – and all without any damage to the surface itself.

Soda blasting is an eco-friendly, bio-degradable cleaning method that effectively removes the residues left by a fire with minimal damage to the surface being cleaned. It can be used on metal, timber or brick, on both the internal and external surfaces of the building being cleaned.
