The Challenge

With over 400+ branches across the UK, a major estate agency franchise is striving to keep its network open to workers, while protecting its staff at the same time. However, since estate agents working for the franchise often have to move between different branches, there is potential for the virus to spread if a member of staff is infected.

The franchise approached Ideal Response to ensure that if any member of staff tests positive for Covid-19 that all branches recently visited by that person would be deep cleaned. The challenge was to achieve this at multiple locations, with rapid response so that the daily business of the estate agency could go ahead.

The Ideal solution

After being awarded the contract for this major national client, the Ideal Response team has now completed a number of deep cleans for different branches across the country. We aim to be on-site within 2-4 hours or 4-6 hours, depending on the location, and our team arrives fully equipped with the correct PPE.

With the office vacated we use, a unique and strong broad spectrum disinfectant, which has passed European testing for use against Covid-19. During each clean, the Ideal Response team pay particular attention to all key touch points in the office. Each office also receives a certificate at the end of every clean which states the work carried out and the techniques and products used.

Thanks to the national response of Ideal, staff at the estate agency can now be back working in their office within 24 hours of the clean, with little disruption to their work routine – an important consideration for a busy estate agency business.
