Javid Ibrahim
Founder & CEO
Javid Ibrahim founded Ideal Response in 2001, growing the business from a small domestic cleaning operation into one of the UK’s leading specialists in fire, flood, and environmental restoration.
With over 20 years of hands-on industry experience, Javid has led response and recovery projects across a wide range of environments, from residential properties affected by fire and water damage to large-scale remediation works following major UK flood events. He played a key role in delivering restoration and recovery services during the London 2012 Olympic Games, where rapid response and technical expertise were critical to maintaining operational timelines.
Under his leadership, Ideal Response has delivered multi-million-pound remediation, retrofit, and maintenance programmes for both public and private sector clients, including work carried out on behalf of government bodies. He has also overseen the company’s response to national incidents, including large-scale decontamination services during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Javid’s approach is grounded in practical experience, technical understanding, and a focus on delivering reliable outcomes in time-critical situations. He continues to lead the company’s strategic direction, with an emphasis on quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across all areas of service delivery.
Tahlia Ibrahim
Technical Account Manager
Tahlia is Technical Account Manager for Construction and Major Loss at Ideal Response, where she oversees complex restoration projects involving significant fire, flood, and structural damage.
With over five years of experience in the disaster recovery sector, and a background spanning marketing, sales, and operations, Tahlia has a well-rounded understanding of the full project lifecycle, from initial enquiry through to technical delivery. This enables her to manage client relationships while ensuring projects are scoped, planned, and executed effectively.
She specialises in large-scale and technically demanding losses. Working closely with insurers, commercial clients, and internal teams, she ensures that projects are managed with accuracy, clear communication, and appropriate technical oversight.
Tahlia is also a certified BioSweep Specialist, with expertise in advanced odour removal and environmental decontamination, supporting specialist restoration requirements.
Her approach is focused on precision, coordination, and consistency, ensuring that complex projects are delivered in a structured and controlled manner.
Chris Hedges
Head of Marketing
Chris Hedges is Head of Marketing at Ideal Response, where he leads the company’s strategic marketing, brand positioning, and communications. With over 25 years of senior experience across the property, legal, and professional services sectors, he plays a key role in shaping how the business is presented to clients, partners, and stakeholders across the UK.
He is responsible for aligning the company’s marketing with its operational capabilities, ensuring that Ideal Response’s expertise in fire, flood, and specialist restoration is communicated clearly and consistently across all channels.
Working closely with senior leadership and technical teams, Chris helps translate complex services into accessible, accurate information, supporting property owners, insurers, and commercial clients in making informed decisions during critical situations.

Kashah Francis
Inbound Sales Manager
Kash Francis plays a key role in Ideal Response’s frontline operations, overseeing the initial response to emergency enquiries and ensuring clients receive clear, timely support from the first point of contact.
With over six years of experience in the disaster recovery sector, she specialises in the rapid assessment and coordination of fire, flood, and property damage incidents. Her focus is on speed and efficiency, making sure each situation is understood quickly and that the appropriate response is mobilised without delay.
Kash manages the inbound contact centre, leading a team responsible for handling urgent enquiries from homeowners, businesses, and insurers. She works closely with operational teams to ensure accurate information is captured at the outset and that every case is directed to the right specialists as quickly as possible.
Her approach is centred on clarity, responsiveness, and effective coordination, ensuring that projects begin with the right actions in place from the very first call.

Koyes has been Business QMS Manager at Ideal Response since 2014, where he is responsible for maintaining the company’s quality management systems and ensuring compliance with recognised industry standards.
He oversees both internal and external auditing processes, working to ensure that all areas of the business operate in line with established quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. This includes monitoring processes, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring that services are delivered consistently across all projects.
With over a decade of experience within the organisation, Koyes plays a key role in embedding structured systems and controls that support reliable service delivery in high-risk environments such as fire, flood, and environmental restoration.

He specialises in improving operational efficiency through structured process design, resource planning, and systems optimisation. This includes developing and maintaining internal procedures, enhancing stock control systems, and ensuring compliance with relevant operational standards.
