Industrial cleaning and degreasing services

Grease, oil, soot and built-up grime slow production, create slip and fire risks, and cause problems at audits. Ideal Response provides industrial cleaning and degreasing for factories, warehouses, plant rooms and car parks across the UK, using hot pressure washing and DOFF superheated steam, which are much faster than cleaning by hand.

Coverage: UK-wide, including London, Kent and the South East

What industrial cleaning is

Industrial cleaning removes the grease, oil, process residue and grime that build up on machinery, plant, floors and structures in working sites. It is different from commercial deep cleaning of offices and kitchens: it needs heavier equipment, trained teams and a plan that works around production, shutdowns and site safety rules.

Industrial cleaning services we provide

Industrial degreasing

Grease and oil removed from machinery, plant, floors and structures, cutting slip and fire risks.

Hot pressure washing

Trailer-mounted, self-contained hot pressure washers for yards, plant, loading bays and heavy-duty surfaces.

Machinery and plant rooms

Machinery and its connections, wiring and pipework cleaned carefully with specialist equipment.

Warehouse and factory floors

Dirt, oil and process residue cleaned from large floor areas, planned around picking and production.

Car parks, yards and loading areas

Oil, soot, carbon and pollution staining removed from concrete and other hard surfaces.

Cleaning at height

HVAC systems, silo exteriors and other raised equipment cleaned, so dust and debris don’t fall onto staff, stock or plant below.

Confined spaces

Our teams have the training and equipment to clean confined spaces safely. We don’t clean inside tanks or silos.

Dilapidation and audit cleaning

Sites cleaned ready for end-of-lease inspection, re-occupation or an audit.

How we carry out industrial cleaning

Step 1Survey the siteWhat needs cleaning, the contamination, access, hazards and when each area can be worked on.
Step 2 Plan and RAMSA risk assessment, method statement and programme built around your operations.
Step 3 Secure the work zoneAreas cordoned off so your team can keep working safely nearby.
Step 4 CleanDegreasing, hot pressure washing or DOFF steam, matched to each surface.
Step 5Waste and handoverWaste removed by a registered waste carrier, with waste transfer notes; we walk the site with you before sign-off.

Equipment we use

01
DOFF superheated steam
Water at up to 150°C at the nozzle, about 5 litres a minute; removes paint, bitumen, algae and grime without a biocide
02
Dirt Driver hot pressure washers
Trailer-mounted, diesel-powered and self-contained on site, for heavy degreasing
03
Specialist cleaning chemicals
Chosen for the contamination and the surface
04
Access equipment
For cleaning HVAC, ductwork and other raised equipment safely

Water and debris recovery
DOFF recovery system for indoor work

Which method for which job?

The contamination and the surface decide the method. We confirm it at the site visit.

Why sharps removal needs professionals

Needle-stick risk

Technicians use protective equipment and tools to find and remove every sharp, including hidden ones.

Lawful disposal

Sharps are clinical waste. They are packaged and taken to a licensed facility, with waste transfer notes

Your duty of care

Landlords, housing providers and employers have a legal duty to keep people safe; a written clearance report shows you have met it.

Decontamination

Once sharps are cleared, affected areas are disinfected.
